Oak Creek residents will feel comfortable and secure knowing that 24 hour security will be monitoring the gatehouse and the community. Guard service will be located at the main gate and will be equipped with visual monitors for viewing all gated entrances. Residents will also have access to view the main gate on their security cable channel.

In these stressful times of combating increased crime and budget cuts, according to Sheriff Michael A. Jackson, "the Office of the Sheriff is refreshed that Montgomery Development supplementes the efforts of law enforcement in Prince George's County, as it prioritizes the safety and secruity of the residents of Oak Creek. We have worked with Montgomery Development over the past ten years to provide Prince George's County with the only private, guard gated community in the county. From the unique gatehouse, security cameras, 24-hour guard service, permiter fencing and roving security guard service, Oak Creek provides its residents with a safer way of living in Prince George's County."

Peace of mind is knowing that security personnel will be traveling throughout the community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and that guests must be registered to enter the community. As a resident, you will have transponders that open the neighborhood security gates. Inside the community, the speed limits are reduced to 20 MPH.
